Seven & i Holdings Co., Ltd. revised earnings guidance for the six months ending August 31, 2026 and full year of fiscal year ending February 28, 2027. For the interim period, the company now expected revenues from operations of JPY 5,510,000 million, operating income of JPY 234,000 million, net income attributable to owners of parent of JPY 118,000 million and net income per share of JPY 51.04 per share as previously forecast of expected revenues from operations of JPY 4,687,000 million, operating income of JPY 190,000 million, net income attributable to owners of parent of JPY 88,000 million and net income per share of JPY 38.07 per share. For the full year, the company expected revenues from operations of JPY 10,430,000 million, operating profit of JPY 425,000 million, profit attributable to owners of parent of JPY 278,000 million, and basic earnings per share of JPY 120.89 as previously forecast of expected revenues from operations of JPY 9,448,000 million, operating income of JPY 405,000 million, net income attributable to owners of parent of JPY 270,000 million and net income per share of JPY 117.42 per share. Reasons for the revision: In the Overseas convenience store operations segment, in the first quarter of the fiscal year ending February 28, 2027, 7-Eleven Inc., a subsidiary of the Company, recorded gasoline revenues that surpassed forecasts due to the volatility of market conditions. In addition, the yen depreciated more than anticipated against foreign currencies. As a result of these factors, revenue from operations, operating income, ordinary income, and net income attributable to owners of the parent all exceeded forecasts. In light of these results and recent trends, we have revised our consolidated financial forecasts for the second quarter (interim period) and the full year of the fiscal year ending February 28, 2027. These revisions reflect the impact of adjustments to the average foreign exchange rate assumptions for the period, with the rate revised to ¥158.00 per US dollar for the six months ending August 31, 2026 and ¥157.00 per US dollar for the full year (compared to the previous forecast of ¥150.00 per US dollar in both cases).
