Rift Helium plc Mobilises 3D Seismic Programme At Upepo Project

Rift Helium PLC announced that mobilisation has commenced for its 3D seismic programme at the Company's flagship Upepo Project. Mobilisation of Rift's fully funded 3D seismic programme has commenced following receipt of the Environmental Impact Assessment certificate, with field acquisition planned to commence in the Fourth Quarter 2026. The survey will create a detailed 3D picture of the subsurface structures at Upepo, helping Rift identify and rank the strongest targets and improve drilling decisions before capital is committed. The resulting data will support an updated independent resource assessment targeted for First Quarter 2027 and finalise well locations ahead of the Company's two-well exploration programme planned for the First Half 2027. Rift will use lightweight portable sensors and smaller field crews, which are designed to enable efficient data acquisition with little or no line clearing, reducing ground disturbance and health, safety and environmental exposure. Rift's strategy at Upepo is based on a simple principle: reduce uncertainty before drilling. The Company entered the Rukwa Basin after helium had already been demonstrated by other operators, allowing Rift to build on existing basin knowledge rather than explore a new helium province from first principles. Existing geological information and 2D seismic data have identified five exploration leads across the Upepo Project, primarily on the eastern licence, PL12093/2022. While 2D seismic provides individual cross-sections through the ground, the planned 3D survey will create a more complete picture of the structures beneath Upepo. This will allow Rift to better define their size, shape and boundaries and identify faults or breaks that may affect whether helium can be contained. 3D seismic does not directly confirm the presence of helium; its role is to map the underground structures in which helium may accumulate. By combining the new 3D data with Rift's existing geological information, the Company expects to rank the strongest targets, improve confidence in their estimated size and select the most appropriate locations for drilling. The resulting dataset is expected to support an updated independent resource assessment targeted for First Quarter 2027. Rift's current independent prospective resource estimate includes a mid-case (P50) estimate of approximately 19 billion cubic feet of helium and a mean estimate of approximately 41 billion cubic feet. The updated interpretation will inform final locations for the two-well exploration campaign, with the first exploration well planned for the First Half 2027. Rift's pathway is clear: 3D seismic in 2026, an updated resource assessment and final drill-location selection in First Quarter 2027, followed by a fully funded two-well exploration programme in the First Half 2027. The Environmental Impact Assessment Certificate covers drilling of up to three exploration wells. In the event of exploration success, Rift's objective is to progress Upepo toward commercial production and establish a new source of primary helium from Tanzania, strategically positioned to serve high-value international markets including Asia.

Helix Exploration Provides Rudyard Operational Updates Including Commercial Operations, Ollie #1 Drilling Permit, and Inez #1 Well Status

Helix Exploration PLC provided updates on operations at the Rudyard facility in Montana. After commercial operations commenced in July 2026 with the filling of Helix's first jumbo tube trailer, the Company has to date completed three tube trailer sales to the Company's industrial gases customer pursuant to a short-term spot sales arrangement. The Company has had positive discussions with the customer, resulting in an extension through September 2026 of the current short-term agreement and providing a strong basis for a potential long-term contract. Following a site visit to the Rudyard facility from the Montana Board of Oil and Gas Conservation ("MBOGC"), a regulatory pause in production has been requested in relation to the handling of associated gas. Due to Helix being the first producer of helium gas in Montana, there are processes in relation to the production of helium gas that have not yet been clearly defined. Helix has complied with the requests and is in dialogue with the MBOGC to resolve these issues before re-commencing production. Helix is actively working with the MBOGC to resolve any issues before a hearing with the MBOGC which is scheduled for 15 October 2026. Based on precedents for comparable situations, the Company is confident that production can be resumed shortly. The Board wishes to reinforce that there is no loss of produceable volumes from the regulatory pause and regular operations will be resumed in a timely manner. The Company has received formal notification that the drilling permit for the Ollie #1 well has been granted by the MBOGC. The recently acquired drilling rig is on-site and preparing to begin drilling. The Company has scheduled spudding of the well for the week commencing 7 September 2026 and expects the drilling campaign to complete by 31 October 2026. The well is targeting the extension of the larger northern dome. The Company has attempted re-entry operations at Inez #1 to retrieve downhole equipment that had become lodged in the wellbore during initial perforation operations. The objective was to clear the obstruction and, subject to a successful retrieval, evaluate the option to core a hydrogen-bearing interval of scientific and strategic interest identified within the wellbore. During operations, it became apparent that the cable obstruction extended beyond what the Company had initially been expressed by the workover operator. The obstruction prevented the Company from accessing and perforating the full target interval. Despite the suboptimal outcome of the well re-entry, the impact on the Company's cash resources from the re-entry has not been significant and will not affect its ability to deliver on any of the objectives outlined in the recent fundraise. Inez #1 has been shown to be a productive well, having previously demonstrated helium concentrations of 1.2% and an Absolute Open Flow rate of 1,157 Mcf/d from the Lower Souris and Red River formation. The Company has multiple remedial options available for Inez #1, including the potential to drill a sidetrack from the existing wellbore to access the target intervals. The Board will assess these options in the context of the Company's broader development programme and will update the market in due course.
