Hong Kong Economic Times Holdings Limited Announces Executive Appointments, Effective January 1, 2026

Hong Kong Economic Times Holdings Limited announced the appointment of Mr. Lau Chi Ming and Ms. Hui Siu Yee as executive directors of the Company, effective January 1, 2026. Mr. Lau Chi Ming, aged 56, is the Deputy Managing Director of the Company's subsidiaries which engage in the businesses of financial news agency, information and solutions and health product platform. Mr. Lau joined the Group in 2000 and has over 30 years of experience in financial software services and management. While holding several managerial roles across different business units within the Group, Mr. Lau has developed extensive expertise in the development and operational management of securities, derivatives and funds content, securities trading systems, wealth management solutions, and health product platform. Mr. Lau holds a Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering from Brigham Young University in the United States and a Master degree in Business Administration from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Mr. Lau has not held any other directorships in other listed public companies in Hong Kong or overseas in the last three years. Ms. Hui Siu Yee, aged 59, is the IT Services Director of the Group and responsible for overseeing the IT development, AI development and advertising technology of Group’s digital platforms under the media segment, as well as Group’s network and systems. Ms. Hui also takes charge of the business development and management of Group’s lifestyle platform. Ms. Hui joined the Group in 2000 and has over 30 years of experience in information technology and business analysis. Prior to joining the Group, she worked for various financial institutions as a consultant. Ms. Hui holds a Bachelor degree in Multidisciplinary Science from Curtin University, Australia. Ms. Hui has not held any other directorships in other listed public companies in Hong Kong or overseas in the last three years. Both Mr. Lau and Ms. Hui shall hold office until the next following annual general meeting of the Company and shall then be eligible for re-election.
