Shaanxi Micot Pharmaceutical Technology Co., Ltd. announced that research results relating to XTL6001, one of the Group’s key products, have been accepted for presentation at multiple leading internationally recognised academic conferences in the fields of diabetes, metabolic diseases and nephrology. Two research abstracts relating to XTL6001 have been accepted for presentation at the 62nd Annual Meeting of the European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD 2026). The research entitled “XTL6001: a novel triple MasR/GCGR/GLP-1R agonist for weight loss and obesity-related complications” has been selected for an oral presentation under the session entitled “Future obesity treatments in human trials”, while the research entitled “XTL6001: a novel triple MasR/GCGR/GLP-1R agonist for chronic kidney disease/diabetic kidney disease with proteinuria and hyperuricaemia” has been selected for a short oral discussion presentation. A research abstract entitled “XTL6001: A Novel Triple MasR/GCGR/GLP-1 Receptor Agonist for Hyperuricemic Nephropathy” has been accepted for poster presentation at the American Society of Nephrology Kidney Week 2026 (ASN Kidney Week 2026) under the session entitled “CKD: Mechanisms of Injury and Fibrosis – 1”. XTL6001 is one of the Group’s key products and a GLP-1R/GCGR/MasR tri-target agonist that has received IND approval in both the PRC and the U.S. By innovatively incorporating MasR as a third target in addition to GLP-1R and GCGR, XTL6001 features a differentiated tri-target mechanism, with potential benefits extending beyond the weight and metabolic effects typically associated with GLP-1-based therapies to include renal protection. The Group is developing XTL6001 for weight management for obesity or overweight, proteinuric CKD and MASH. As set out in the prospectus of the Company, the Phase I clinical trial of XTL6001 in China had completed the last patient last visit and database lock. The Group plans to continue advancing the clinical development of XTL6001 in accordance with its disclosed development plan. Preclinical and Phase I clinical data of XTL6001 demonstrated its potential across weight management, metabolic regulation and renal protection. In the weight management and metabolic setting, XTL6001 demonstrated reductions in body weight, waist circumference and serum uric acid, together with improvements in lipid profiles. In preclinical kidney disease models, XTL6001 demonstrated reductions in urinary albumin and improvements in renal function-related parameters. The subsequent selection of such research results for oral presentations at EASD 2026 in the fields of weight management and CKD/DKD, respectively, and for a poster presentation at ASN Kidney Week 2026 in the field of hyperuricemic nephropathy represents another important milestone in the development of XTL6001. The selection of XTL6001 studies for presentation at major international academic meetings in both the diabetes/metabolic and nephrology fields further highlights its differentiated development profile beyond weight management alone, and underscores the potential renal protective effects of its innovative GLP-1R/GCGR/MasR tri-target mechanism, distinguishing XTL6001 from conventional GLP-1-based therapies.
