Hiab Oyj (HLSE:HIAB) completed the acquisition of Labrie Environmental Group, LLC from Wynnchurch Capital, L.P and management minority shareholders.

Hiab Oyj (HLSE:HIAB) entered into an agreement to acquire Labrie Environmental Group, LLC from Wynnchurch Capital, L.P and management minority shareholders for an enterprise value of $1.0 billion on June 1, 2026. The transaction is valued at $1.035 billion on a cash-free and debt-free basis. The 100% cash consideration will be financed with cash at hand and additional debt in a maximum amount of €900 million (approximately $1.025 billion). Hiab has entered into a committed financing arrangement with Danske Bank A/S and OP Corporate Bank to secure the funding for the acquisition. For the period ending March 31, 2026, Labrie Environmental Group, LLC reported total revenue of $491 million, EBIT of $83 million and EBITDA of $113 million. The transaction is subject to approval by regulatory board / committee. The expected completion of the transaction is in the third quarter of 2026. For Hiab, the deal is expected to be both margin- and growth-accretive and is anticipated to strengthen cash generation immediately following the closing. Morgan Stanley & Co. The required regulatory approval was received, and customary closing conditions were met. Labrie’s President and Chief Executive Officer, Michael Eastabrook, joins Hiab Leadership Team.
