Aboitiz Power Corporation held its regular Board meeting on July 28, 2026. The company approved the appointment of Mr. Masakazu Dobashi as Director of the Company, effective July 28, 2026. Mr. Dobashi, 52 years old, Japanese, currently serves as President of JERA Philippines since October 2025. He began his professional career in 1997 at KPMG Century Audit Corporation (currently ShinNihon Audit Corporation), where he conducted statutory audits for Japanese listed companies and multinational corporations, building a strong foundation in financial analysis and corporate governance. In 2004, Mr. Dobashi joined GCA Corporation (currently Houlihan Lokey), where he specialized in M&A advisory services. During this time, he advised corporate clients on a wide range of transactions, including deal structuring, financing, business valuation, and negotiations. Mr. Dobashi joined JERA Co. Inc. in 2020 at its headquarters in Japan, where he was involved in corporate level financial and strategic initiatives. He subsequently assumed the role of Chief Financial Officer of JERA Asia Private Limited in Singapore from 2022 to February 2026, overseeing finance, accounting, and tax functions across the region and supporting JERA's expansion and investment activities in multiple jurisdictions. Mr. Dobashi holds a Bachelor of Economics from Saitama University and is a Certified Public Accountant in Japan. He is not affiliated with any government agency or instrumentality, and neither does he serve as a director for any other Philippine publicly listed company. The company also approved appointments to various Board Committees, effective July 28, 2026: Ms. Estela M. Perlas-Bernabe was designated as Chairperson of the Board Corporate Governance and Sustainability Committee, Mr. Masakazu Dobashi was appointed as Non-Voting Observer of the Board Corporate Governance and Sustainability Committee, Member of the Board Risk and Reputation Management Committee, and Member of the Board Related Party Transactions Committee.
