Sitka Power Inc. has acquired a portfolio of operating renewable electricity generation and battery storage assets from Saturn Power Inc., marking a key development in the energy transition landscape. This acquisition includes approximately 39 megawatts of wind, solar, and battery storage assets located in Ontario and Saskatchewan, with output sold through long-term contracts. Sitka Power, formed in November 2024, aims to strategically expand its renewable energy footprint in Canada, supported by backing from a private infrastructure fund managed by an affiliate of Long Life Capital Inc. This transaction underscores Sitka Power’s commitment to providing clean electricity and contributing to a sustainable future.

In other market news, Suzlon Energy (NSEI:SUZLON) was a notable mover up 7.0% and ending trading at ₹54.16. At the same time, Samsung Heavy Industries (KOSE:A010140) softened, down 7.9% to end the day at ₩13,570.
