OCI Energy and Sabanci Renewables have expanded their partnership by finalizing the sale of two solar projects in Texas, totaling 286 MWdc, aimed at addressing the rising power demand with clean energy solutions. The recent transaction includes the 100 MWac / 130 MWdc Project Lucky 7 Solar, set to begin construction under Sabanci's leadership and scheduled for commercial operation by 2027. This collaboration underscores both companies' commitment to advancing the energy transition by enhancing grid security and delivering reliable and affordable renewable energy. The partnership will continue to explore further opportunities for delivering impactful energy solutions in the region.
Elsewhere in the market, Nextracker (NasdaqGS:NXT) was trading firmly up 11.8% and ending trading at $67.70, near its 52-week high. Meanwhile, Icahn Enterprises (NasdaqGS:IEP) trailed, down 8.8% to finish the session at $8.57.
