This expansion brings the total critical IT capacity at the campus to 400MW, reinforcing Applied Digital’s commitment to advancing AI infrastructure. The Polaris Forge 1 Campus is designed to scale up to 1 gigawatt and will use renewable power and the cool North Dakota climate to prioritize sustainability. The new facility is expected to be fully operational by 2027, contributing to the region's growing role in the digital economy.
