Independent Director Adam Rothstein Sold A Bunch Of Shares In Reservoir Media

Some Reservoir Media, Inc. (NASDAQ:RSVR) shareholders may be a little concerned to see that the Independent Director, Adam Rothstein, recently sold a substantial US$931k worth of stock at a price of US$7.57 per share. That's a big disposal, and it decreased their holding size by 43%, which is notable but not too bad.

Reservoir Media Insider Transactions Over The Last Year

In fact, the recent sale by Adam Rothstein was the biggest sale of Reservoir Media shares made by an insider individual in the last twelve months, according to our records. That means that an insider was selling shares at below the current price (US$7.78). When an insider sells below the current price, it suggests that they considered that lower price to be fair. That makes us wonder what they think of the (higher) recent valuation. Please do note, however, that sellers may have a variety of reasons for selling, so we don't know for sure what they think of the stock price. We note that the biggest single sale was only 43% of Adam Rothstein's holding.
