Have Insiders Sold Brady Shares Recently?

We'd be surprised if Brady Corporation (NYSE:BRC) shareholders haven't noticed that the Independent Director, Elizabeth Bruno, recently sold US$399k worth of stock at US$76.27 per share. On the bright side, that sale was only 0.6% of their holding, so we doubt it's very meaningful, on its own.

Brady Insider Transactions Over The Last Year

In fact, the recent sale by Elizabeth Bruno was the biggest sale of Brady shares made by an insider individual in the last twelve months, according to our records. That means that an insider was selling shares at around the current price of US$72.50. While we don't usually like to see insider selling, it's more concerning if the sales take place at a lower price. Given that the sale took place at around current prices, it makes us a little cautious but is hardly a major concern.
