Evolution Group Chief Executive Officer Acquires 15% More Stock

Evolution AB (publ) (STO:EVO) shareholders (or potential shareholders) will be happy to see that the Group Chief Executive Officer, Martin Carlesund, recently bought a whopping kr67m worth of stock, at a price of kr671. Aside from being a solid chunk in its own right, the deft move also saw their holding increase by some 15%.

The Last 12 Months Of Insider Transactions At Evolution

Notably, that recent purchase by Group Chief Executive Officer Martin Carlesund was not the only time they bought Evolution shares this year. They previously made an even bigger purchase of kr208m worth of shares at a price of kr853 per share. That means that an insider was happy to buy shares at above the current price of kr698. Their view may have changed since then, but at least it shows they felt optimistic at the time. To us, it's very important to consider the price insiders pay for shares. Generally speaking, it catches our eye when insiders have purchased shares at above current prices, as it suggests they believed the shares were worth buying, even at a higher price. We note that Martin Carlesund was also the biggest seller.
