He served as an Executive Vice President at MVB Bank, Inc. He serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of MVB Bank Inc. He served as the President of MVB Bank Inc., a subsidiary of MVB Financial Corp., until January 1, 2014. He has more than 28 years of experience in both large banks and community banks and is one of seven members of the West Virginia Board of Banking and Financial Institutions, which oversees the operation of financial institutions throughout West Virginia and advises the state Commissioner of Banking. He served as Senior Vice President Retail Banking Manager and President for BB&T and its predecessors in West Virginia, where he was employed from June 1986 to March 2005. He served as the President of two other local West Virginia banks. He was a Certified Public Accountant at a Big-Four accounting firm. Prior thereto, Mr. Mazza was President of Empire National Bank and later served as Regional President of One Valley Bank. Mr. Mazza is also an entrepreneur and is co-owner of nationally-recognized sports media business Football Talk, LLC, a pro football website and content provider for NBC SportsTalk.
