Sats Insider Transactions Over The Last Year
Notably, that recent sale by Wenche Evertsen is the biggest insider sale of Sats shares that we've seen in the last year. So what is clear is that an insider saw fit to sell at around the current price of kr31.50. We generally don't like to see insider selling, but the lower the sale price, the more it concerns us. We note that this sale took place at around the current price, so it isn't a major concern, though it's hardly a good sign.
In the last year Sats insiders didn't buy any company stock. You can see the insider transactions (by companies and individuals) over the last year depicted in the chart below. By clicking on the graph below, you can see the precise details of each insider transaction!

Insider Ownership Of Sats
I like to look at how many shares insiders own in a company, to help inform my view of how aligned they are with insiders. Usually, the higher the insider ownership, the more likely it is that insiders will be incentivised to build the company for the long term. It appears that Sats insiders own 3.0% of the company, worth about kr192m. This level of insider ownership is good but just short of being particularly stand-out. It certainly does suggest a reasonable degree of alignment.
What Might The Insider Transactions At Sats Tell Us?
An insider hasn't bought Sats stock in the last three months, but there was some selling. And even if we look at the last year, we didn't see any purchases. But since Sats is profitable and growing, we're not too worried by this. The company boasts high insider ownership, but we're a little hesitant, given the history of share sales. So these insider transactions can help us build a thesis about the stock, but it's also worthwhile knowing the risks facing this company. When we did our research, we found 2 warning signs for Sats (1 makes us a bit uncomfortable!) that we believe deserve your full attention.
