Origin Enterprises Non-Executive Independent Chairman Acquires 67% More Stock

Even if it's not a huge purchase, we think it was good to see that Gary Britton, the Non-Executive Independent Chairman of Origin Enterprises plc (ISE:OIZ) recently shelled out €58k to buy stock, at €2.91 per share. Even though that isn't a massive buy, it did increase their holding by 67%, which is arguably a good sign.

Origin Enterprises Insider Transactions Over The Last Year

The Group CEO & Executive Director Sean Coyle made the biggest insider purchase in the last 12 months. That single transaction was for €145k worth of shares at a price of €2.90 each. That means that an insider was happy to buy shares at above the current price of €2.79. Their view may have changed since then, but at least it shows they felt optimistic at the time.
