Energy Transition Today - Innovative Platform Boosts Renewable Natural Gas Efficiency
Reviewed by Simply Wall St
Clean Energy Technologies, Inc. has announced the launch of their HTAP™ platform, which aims to enhance the efficiency of anaerobic digestion facilities in producing renewable natural gas (RNG) and converting digestate into biochar. This new technology thermochemically processes hard-to-digest biomass, potentially boosting RNG output for existing and future anaerobic digestion systems while also addressing digestate management challenges. The platform can convert forestry residues and agricultural waste into clean syngas, supporting additional RNG production and generating biochar that has potential agricultural and industrial applications. This development represents a significant stride in improving the economic and environmental performance of renewable energy facilities, aligning with broader goals in energy transition efforts.
