Boost Run, Inc. (NASDAQ:BRUN) Has Found A Path To Profitability

Boost Run, Inc. (NASDAQ:BRUN) is possibly approaching a major achievement in its business, so we would like to shine some light on the company. Boost Run, Inc. develops and provides cloud infrastructure for artificial intelligence (AI) and computing workloads. The US$265m market-cap company announced a latest loss of US$16m on 31 December 2025 for its most recent financial year result. The most pressing concern for investors is Boost Run's path to profitability – when will it breakeven? Below we will provide a high-level summary of the industry analysts’ expectations for the company.

Boost Run is bordering on breakeven, according to some American Software analysts. They expect the company to post a final loss in 2025, before turning a profit of US$6.8m in 2026. So, the company is predicted to breakeven approximately a year from now or less! How fast will the company have to grow to reach the consensus forecasts that anticipate breakeven by 2026? Working backwards from analyst estimates, it turns out that they expect the company to grow 136% year-on-year, on average, which is extremely buoyant. Should the business grow at a slower rate, it will become profitable at a later date than expected.

One thing we would like to bring into light with Boost Run is its relatively high level of debt. Typically, debt shouldn’t exceed 40% of your equity, which in Boost Run's case is 77%. A higher level of debt requires more stringent capital management which increases the risk in investing in the loss-making company.

Leverage on its own is close to useless as a screen right now, because so much corporate debt was termed out at 2 to 3% and has not repriced. A business at three times leverage with nothing due until 2031 is in a completely different position from the same ratio rolling next year. Screen on weighted average maturity and the schedule behind it.
