Those following along with United Homes Group, Inc. That increased their holding by a full 145%, which arguably implies the sort of confidence required for a shy sweet-natured nerd to ask the most popular kid in the school to go out on a date.

United Homes Group Insider Transactions Over The Last Year

Notably, that recent purchase by Michael Nieri is the biggest insider purchase of United Homes Group shares that we've seen in the last year. That means that even when the share price was higher than US$4.60 (the recent price), an insider wanted to purchase shares. While their view may have changed since the purchase was made, this does at least suggest they have had confidence in the company's future. We always take careful note of the price insiders pay when purchasing shares. It is generally more encouraging if they paid above the current price, as it suggests they saw value, even at higher levels.

Over the last year, we can see that insiders have bought 1.59m shares worth US$7.9m. But they sold 5.00k shares for US$22k. In total, United Homes Group insiders bought more than they sold over the last year. Does United Homes Group Boast High Insider Ownership?

Another way to test the alignment between the leaders of a company and other shareholders is to look at how many shares they own. I reckon it's a good sign if insiders own a significant number of shares in the company. United Homes Group insiders own about US$115m worth of shares (which is 53% of the company). I like to see this level of insider ownership, because it increases the chances that management are thinking about the best interests of shareholders.

What Might The Insider Transactions At United Homes Group Tell Us?

However, we note that the company didn't make a profit over the last twelve months, which makes us cautious. When combined with notable insider ownership, these factors suggest United Homes Group insiders are well aligned, and quite possibly think the share price is too low. Nice!
