These Analysts Think Teneo AI AB (publ)'s (STO:TENEO) Sales Are Under Threat

Market forces rained on the parade of Teneo AI AB (publ) (STO:TENEO) shareholders today, when the analysts downgraded their forecasts for next year. Revenue estimates were cut sharply as the analysts signalled a weaker outlook - perhaps a sign that investors should temper their expectations as well. Surprisingly the share price has been buoyant, rising 15% to kr0.60 in the past 7 days. Whether the downgrade will have a negative impact on demand for shares is yet to be seen.

Following the downgrade, the latest consensus from Teneo AI's two analysts is for revenues of kr142m in 2026, which would reflect a substantial 20% improvement in sales compared to the last 12 months. The loss per share is anticipated to greatly reduce in the near future, narrowing 51% to kr0.059. Yet prior to the latest estimates, the analysts had been forecasting revenues of kr172m and losses of kr0.036 per share in 2026. Ergo, there's been a clear change in sentiment, with the analysts administering a notable cut to next year's revenue estimates, while at the same time increasing their loss per share forecasts.

Looking at the bigger picture now, one of the ways we can make sense of these forecasts is to see how they measure up against both past performance and industry growth estimates. The period to the end of 2026 brings more of the same, according to the analysts, with revenue forecast to display 16% growth on an annualised basis. That is in line with its 19% annual growth over the past five years. By contrast, our data suggests that other companies (with analyst coverage) in a similar industry are forecast to see their revenues grow 8.2% per year. So it's pretty clear that Teneo AI is forecast to grow substantially faster than its industry.

The Bottom Line

The most important thing to take away is that analysts increased their loss per share estimates for next year. While analysts did downgrade their revenue estimates, these forecasts still imply revenues will perform better than the wider market. Overall, given the drastic downgrade to next year's forecasts, we'd be feeling a little more wary of Teneo AI going forwards.
