Mr. Goenka served as Network Operating Officer at Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited since 2005 and also served as its Head of Zee TV & Cinema. He served as Managing Director of Zee Media Corporation Limited (Zee News Limited) from July 5, 2010 to July 4, 2013. He has extensive, diversified background in the areas of media, entertainment and tele-communications in global markets. From 1995 to 1997, he headed a Music division of Zee Telefilms Ltd engaged in Audio/Video Music Album Publication. Since 2004, Mr. Goenka has been in charge of Zee TV the flagship hindi GEC channel. He served at Dish TV India Ltd., (formerly ASC Enterprises Ltd.) from 1997 to 2004. He began his career with the Essel Group. It also broadcasts niche channels comprising Zee Café, &privé HD, Zee Studio, and Zing; ZEE LIVE and Zee Theatre channels; and dittoTV, India.com, and OZEE for audiences on digital mediums, as well as broadcasts 39 channels in the international markets.
