Origin Enterprises Insider Transactions Over The Last Year

Notably, that recent purchase by Sean Coyle is the biggest insider purchase of Origin Enterprises shares that we've seen in the last year. So it's clear an insider wanted to buy, even at a higher price than the current share price (being €2.81). While their view may have changed since the purchase was made, this does at least suggest they have had confidence in the company's future. To us, it's very important to consider the price insiders pay for shares. It is generally more encouraging if they paid above the current price, as it suggests they saw value, even at higher levels.

In the last twelve months insiders purchased 183.68k shares for €586k. On the other hand they divested 4.28k shares, for €14k. In total, Origin Enterprises insiders bought more than they sold over the last year. Based on our data, Origin Enterprises insiders have about 0.3% of the stock, worth approximately €923k. But they may have an indirect interest through a corporate structure that we haven't picked up on. I generally like to see higher levels of ownership.
