CEO & Executive Director of AstraZeneca Picks Up 9.9% More Stock
Those following along with AstraZeneca PLC (LON:AZN) will no doubt be intrigued by the recent purchase of shares by Pascal Soriot, CEO & Executive Director of the company, who spent a stonking UK£2.0m on stock at an average price of UK£102. There's no denying a buy of that magnitude suggests conviction in a brighter future, although we do note that proportionally it only increased their holding by 9.9%.

AstraZeneca Insider Transactions Over The Last Year
Notably, that recent purchase by Pascal Soriot is the biggest insider purchase of AstraZeneca shares that we've seen in the last year. That means that even when the share price was higher than UK£99.69 (the recent price), an insider wanted to purchase shares.
