News Flash: Analysts Just Made A Massive Upgrade To Their Innate Pharma S.A. (EPA:IPH) Forecasts
Innate Pharma S.A. (EPA:IPH) shareholders will have a reason to smile today, with the analysts making substantial upgrades to this year's forecasts. The revenue forecast for this year has experienced a facelift, with analysts now much more optimistic on its sales pipeline.
Following the upgrade, the current consensus from Innate Pharma's seven analysts is for revenues of €67m in 2023 which - if met - would reflect a solid 16% increase on its sales over the past 12 months. Before the latest update, the analysts were foreseeing €49m of revenue in 2023. It looks like there's been a clear increase in optimism around Innate Pharma, given the very substantial lift in revenue forecasts.

Of course, another way to look at these forecasts is to place them into context against the industry itself. One thing stands out from these estimates, which is that Innate Pharma is forecast to grow faster in the future than it has in the past, with revenues expected to display 16% annualised growth until the end of 2023. If achieved, this would be a much better result than the 8.3% annual decline over the past five years. By contrast, our data suggests that other companies (with analyst coverage) in a similar industry are forecast to see their revenue grow 24% per year. Although Innate Pharma's revenues are expected to improve, it seems that the analysts are still bearish on the business, forecasting it to grow slower than the broader industry.
The Bottom Line
The most important thing to take away from this upgrade is that analysts lifted their revenue estimates for this year. They also expect company revenue to perform worse than the wider market. Given that analysts appear to be expecting substantial improvement in the sales pipeline, now could be the right time to take another look at Innate Pharma.
Of course, there's always more to the story. At least one of Innate Pharma's seven analysts has provided estimates out to 2025, which can be seen for free on our platform here.
