New Forecasts: Here's What Analysts Think The Future Holds For La Française de l'Energie S.A. (EPA:FDE)
Celebrations may be in order for La Française de l'Energie S.A. (EPA:FDE) shareholders, with the analysts delivering a significant upgrade to their statutory estimates for the company. The consensus estimated revenue numbers rose, with their view now clearly much more bullish on the company's business prospects.
Following the upgrade, the latest consensus from La Française de l'Energie's four analysts is for revenues of €53m in 2024, which would reflect a sizeable 35% improvement in sales compared to the last 12 months. Prior to the latest estimates, the analysts were forecasting revenues of €46m in 2024. It looks like there's been a clear increase in optimism around La Française de l'Energie, given the nice increase in revenue forecasts.

Taking a look at the bigger picture now, one of the ways we can understand these forecasts is to see how they compare to both past performance and industry growth estimates. The period to the end of 2024 brings more of the same, according to the analysts, with revenue forecast to display 35% growth on an annualised basis. That is in line with its 42% annual growth over the past five years. Compare this with the broader industry (in aggregate), which analyst estimates suggest will see revenues fall 1.9% per year. So not only is La Française de l'Energie expected to maintain its revenue growth despite the wider downturn, it's also forecast to grow faster than the industry as a whole.
The Bottom Line
The most important thing to take away from this upgrade is that analysts lifted their revenue estimates for this year. They're also forecasting for revenues to perform better than companies in the wider market. Given that analysts appear to be expecting substantial improvement in the sales pipeline, now could be the right time to take another look at La Française de l'Energie.
