Kelt Exploration Insider Transactions Over The Last Year
Notably, that recent purchase by David Wilson is the biggest insider purchase of Kelt Exploration shares that we've seen in the last year. That means that an insider was happy to buy shares at around the current price of CA$6.24. While their view may have changed since the purchase was made, this does at least suggest they have had confidence in the company's future. We do always like to see insider buying, but it is worth noting if those purchases were made at well below today's share price, as the discount to value may have narrowed with the rising price. Happily, the Kelt Exploration insider decided to buy shares at close to current prices. David Wilson was the only individual insider to buy during the last year.

Insider Ownership Of Kelt Exploration
Many investors like to check how much of a company is owned by insiders. Usually, the higher the insider ownership, the more likely it is that insiders will be incentivised to build the company for the long term. Kelt Exploration insiders own 17% of the company, currently worth about CA$211m based on the recent share price. I like to see this level of insider ownership, because it increases the chances that management are thinking about the best interests of shareholders.
