Scintil Photonics has secured $58 million in a Series B funding round led by Yotta Capital Partners to advance its integrated photonics technology for AI infrastructure. The funding will enable expansion of production and international presence, especially focusing on the U.S., to cater to the high demands of next-generation AI data centers. Scintil's breakthrough technology includes the industry's first single-chip DWDM light engine, designed to meet the energy efficiency and bandwidth needs of evolving AI infrastructure. This development supports Scintil's mission to replace multiple traditional components with a single chip solution, revolutionizing the integration and performance of AI systems globally.
In other trading, Kioxia Holdings (TSE:285A) was trading firmly up 9.4% and ending the day at ¥3,475, not far from its 52-week high. Meanwhile, Xinjiang Daqo New EnergyLtd (SHSE:688303) trailed, down 8.1% to finish the session at CN¥30.25.
