Hon Richard Prebble has decided not to seek re-election at the July 2024 Annual Meeting. As a consequence of these planned retirements, Mainfreight continues to review suitable future director candidates. Carl Howard-Smith, Mainfreight's long serving legal counsel and former Director has also chosen to retire from the end of July 2023. Regional legal counsel personnel are already in place throughout Mainfreight's locations in New Zealand, Australia, USA, and Europe.
