CELH: Category Headwinds Will Set Up Future Share And Brand Recovery

Analysts have trimmed the Celsius Holdings fair value estimate from $61.35 to $58.52, as a series of reduced price targets, including cuts into the $40s and $50s from firms such as Roth Capital, BofA, Morgan Stanley, BNP Paribas, TD Cowen, UBS and others, point to softer category growth, slower market share gains and near term revenue headwinds, even as many still highlight longer term brand potential. Analyst Commentary Recent research on Celsius Holdings shows a split between concern about execution over the next few quarters and confidence in the longer term appeal of the company’s energy drink portfolio, particularly Alani Nu. Price targets have generally moved lower, but many firms still frame the current valuation against the potential for the brands to perform better once near term issues are addressed.
