HSY: Confection Recovery And Easing Cocoa Costs Will Support Future Earnings Resilience

The analyst price target for Hershey has been trimmed by about $11 to reflect slightly lower fair value estimates, a modestly higher discount rate, and more cautious assumptions on revenue growth, profit margins, and future P/E multiples. Recent research points to softer scanner data and freight pressure in salty snacks, even as some analysts remain constructive on the confection category heading into the second half of 2026.
