With Aeva trading at US$16.08, carrying an intrinsic discount estimate of 71.89% and sitting about 50% below the analyst price target, you now need to decide whether this is a genuine mispricing or if future growth is already fully reflected in the price.
Most Popular Narrative: 33.3% Undervalued
Based on the most followed narrative, Aeva’s fair value of $24.11 sits well above the last close at $16.08, putting the focus squarely on how future programs and margins might bridge that gap.
Impending series production award with a top 10 global passenger OEM for Level 3 highway and city driving positions Aeva as an early standard in next generation driver assistance, creating multi-year, high volume revenue visibility and operating leverage on fixed R&D expenses, which should support margin expansion and earnings growth.
Want to see how one potential contract, one margin shift, and one growth assumption combine to support that higher fair value? The narrative knits together revenue ramps, profitability inflection, and a premium future earnings multiple into a single pricing roadmap that is very different from what the current share price implies.
Result: Fair Value of $24.11 (UNDERVALUED)
Have a read of the narrative in full and understand what's behind the forecasts.
However, there are still clear watchpoints, including the risk that key auto programs slip or that competitors win share in industrial sensing before Aeva can scale meaningfully.

Another View: Expensive on Traditional Ratios
While the narrative and fair value estimates suggest upside, the current P/B of 76.6x sits far above both the US Electronic industry average of 2.3x and the peer average of 5.5x. That kind of gap can point to valuation risk if expectations do not play out as hoped.
Our ratio work asks a simple question: are you comfortable paying this much more than the sector and peers for Aeva’s balance sheet profile, or does it push you to stress test the story more aggressively before committing fresh capital?

Gold miners still look inexpensive because the market thinks we're near the top of the cycle. Given what's happening to the dollar, I'm not so sure.

Is it a safer bet on gold to have just exposure to ETFs?
Between 2003 and 2011, gold nearly went 5x. Dollar went weak too. The gold companies did bad. It is worth noting that between 2003 and 2011, there was 2008! I will leave it your inference and research.
