AI Infrastructure Stocks That Could Benefit Most From Cooling Rate Fears

With Nasdaq futures pointing higher while investors wait for fresh jobs data and inflation clues, attention is swinging back to large technology stocks that often react quickly to shifting rate expectations. This mix of cautious optimism and inflation worries creates an opening for those watching how tech giants are exposed to the latest economic headlines. This article walks through 3 stocks from our Technology Sector Stocks screener that appear positively exposed to the current news.

Astera Labs (ALAB)

Astera Labs is a US based semiconductor company that focuses on high speed connectivity chips and software for cloud and AI data centers, supplying hyperscalers and system equipment makers with PCIe/CXL retimers, Ethernet modules, CXL memory controllers and fabric switches, all managed through its COSMOS software suite. The company is currently valued at about US$57.5b.

Astera Labs sits at the heart of AI data center build outs, with its Scorpio switches and Aries PCIe retimers closely tied to the demand for high bandwidth connections between accelerators and memory. Recent Q2 2026 results showed strong revenue and profit growth, and management is already pointing to the Scorpio X-Series ramp and Q3 guidance as another potential step up. That strength comes with real tension, including a rich valuation, heavy reliance on hyperscaler AI spending and concerns about funding risk and share price volatility. If the current Nasdaq friendly macro backdrop persists and AI capex holds up, Astera Labs may remain one of the more closely watched AI infrastructure stocks in the sector.

Astera Labs sits at the center of AI infrastructure spending, yet the real story may be how much future demand is already priced in. Before making any calls, review the analyst forecasts for Astera Labs and see what might be hiding behind the headline enthusiasm.

Fabrinet (FN)

Fabrinet is a contract manufacturer that builds high precision optical components, lasers, sensors and high speed interconnects for equipment makers in telecoms, data centers, automotive and medical devices. The business is heavily focused on optical networking equipment, which generated about US$4.2b in revenue, and it serves a global customer base across North America, Europe and Asia. Fabrinet currently has a market value of about US$18.7b.

Fabrinet sits right in the flow of rising data traffic and AI compute demand, building the optical transceivers and high speed links that big cloud and telecom customers need for faster networks. That exposure has helped earnings grow faster than the wider US market, with analysts expecting strong double digit growth to continue, and recent attention from funds like ClearBridge adds to the interest. The flip side is a rich valuation, heavy reliance on a few large customers such as NVIDIA and Cisco, and ongoing supply constraints in advanced products that could cap near term upside. For investors looking at tech hardware that could benefit from today’s Nasdaq friendly mood, the key question is whether Fabrinet’s growth and margin profile is strong enough to justify the current pricing and the risks tied to customer concentration and capacity expansion.

Fabrinet’s earnings story and AI exposure look strong, yet the real puzzle is whether current pricing already assumes too much. Read the 3 key rewards and 3 important warning signs (1 is major!) to see what might be hiding in the fine print

Space Exploration Technologies (SPCX)

Space Exploration Technologies combines rockets, satellite broadband and AI into one business, bringing in about US$13.9b from Connectivity, US$5.1b from AI and US$4.1b from its Space segment. That mix of launch services, Starlink internet and AI platforms such as Grok gives the company multiple ways to monetize space access and data. The stock is large in scale with a market value of roughly US$1.43t.

Space Exploration Technologies sits at the crossroads of AI hype, space access and Starlink broadband, with fast revenue growth and a growing lineup of government and big tech contracts. At the same time, the company is still loss making, is heavily funding AI infrastructure and Starship development, and relies on higher risk borrowing to sustain that spending. These factors can make the stock volatile, especially with insider unlocks on the horizon. For investors watching Nasdaq momentum and the current appetite for tech growth, the key question is how the long term AI and connectivity opportunity compares with ongoing cash burn and a valuation that already reflects a lot of future success.

Space Exploration Technologies looks like pure momentum on the surface, yet the real story sits in how AI, launch and Starlink cash demands stack up against its valuation. Read the analysis report for Space Exploration Technologies

Between 2003 and 2011, gold nearly went 5x. Dollar went weak too. The gold companies did bad. It is worth noting that between 2003 and 2011, there was 2008! I will leave it your inference and research.
