Sezzle Inc. (NASDAQ:SEZL) Soars 27% But It's A Story Of Risk Vs Reward

Sezzle Inc. (NASDAQ:SEZL) shares have had a really impressive month, gaining 27% after a shaky period beforehand. While recent buyers may be laughing, long-term holders might not be as pleased since the recent gain only brings the stock back to where it started a year ago.

In spite of the firm bounce in price, you could still be forgiven for feeling indifferent about Sezzle's P/S ratio of 2.9x, since the median price-to-sales (or "P/S") ratio for the Diversified Financial industry in the United States is also close to 2.6x. How Sezzle Has Been Performing

With revenue growth that's superior to most other companies of late, Sezzle has been doing relatively well. Perhaps the market is expecting this level of performance to taper off, keeping the P/S from soaring. If the company manages to stay the course, then investors should be rewarded with a share price that matches its revenue figures.
