Mr. Charles N. Funk, also known as Charlie, has been the President and Chief Executive Officer of MidWestOne Financial Group, Inc. since March 2008 and MidWestOne Bank since November 2000. Formerly, he held positions as President & Central Region Manager and Chief Investment Officer for Brenton Bank in Des Moines. He is a graduate of William Jewell College – and a member of the school’s athletic hall of fame. He was a 2014 recipient of the school’s Citation of Achievement, the highest honor given to an alumnus. He is also a graduate of the ABA National and Graduate School of Investments and the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking. He was a faculty member of the Graduate School of Banking in Boulder, Colorado where he taught from 2000-2016. He has also been a faculty member of the Stonier School of Banking and the Iowa School of Banking. He was appointed the 2011 Chairman of the Iowa Bankers Association and served four years on the board of the American Bankers Association.

In addition, it offers other products and services comprising debit cards, automated teller machines, online banking, mobile banking, and safe deposit boxes.
