We'd be surprised if Paynova AB (NGM:PAY) shareholders haven't noticed that the Chairman of the Board & President, Daniel Ekberger, recently sold kr2.4m worth of stock at kr15.00 per share. On the bright side, that sale was only 0.6% of their holding, so we doubt it's very meaningful, on its own.

Paynova Insider Transactions Over The Last Year

Notably, that recent sale by Daniel Ekberger is the biggest insider sale of Paynova shares that we've seen in the last year. So we know that an insider sold shares at around the present share price of kr14.40. While we don't usually like to see insider selling, it's more concerning if the sales take place at a lower price. Given that the sale took place at around current prices, it makes us a little cautious but is hardly a major concern.

Does Paynova Boast High Insider Ownership?

It appears that Paynova insiders own 17% of the company, worth about kr32m. We've certainly seen higher levels of insider ownership elsewhere, but these holdings are enough to suggest alignment between insiders and the other shareholders.
