The Last 12 Months Of Insider Transactions At Atrium Ljungberg

Over the last year, we can see that the biggest insider purchase was by Independent Director Simon De Château for kr2.2m worth of shares, at about kr149 per share. That means that an insider was happy to buy shares at around the current price of kr165. While their view may have changed since the purchase was made, this does at least suggest they have had confidence in the company's future. We do always like to see insider buying, but it is worth noting if those purchases were made at well below today's share price, as the discount to value may have narrowed with the rising price. In this case we're pleased to report that the insider purchases were made at close to current prices.

For a common shareholder, it is worth checking how many shares are held by company insiders. Usually, the higher the insider ownership, the more likely it is that insiders will be incentivised to build the company for the long term. It's great to see that Atrium Ljungberg insiders own 18% of the company, worth about kr3.9b. I like to see this level of insider ownership, because it increases the chances that management are thinking about the best interests of shareholders.
