Chairman of the Board of Afry Picks Up 40% More Stock

Potential Afry AB (STO:AFRY) shareholders may wish to note that the Chairman of the Board, Tom Erixon, recently bought kr3.1m worth of stock, paying kr156 for each share. That's a very solid buy in our book, and increased their holding by a noteworthy 40%.

The Last 12 Months Of Insider Transactions At Afry

Over the last year, we can see that the biggest insider purchase was by President & CEO Linda Palsson for kr10m worth of shares, at about kr196 per share. So it's clear an insider wanted to buy, even at a higher price than the current share price (being kr154). While their view may have changed since the purchase was made, this does at least suggest they have had confidence in the company's future. To us, it's very important to consider the price insiders pay for shares. Generally speaking, it catches our eye when insiders have purchased shares at above current prices, as it suggests they believed the shares were worth buying, even at a higher price.
