Campus Activewear Insider Transactions Over The Last Year

Notably, that recent sale by Chief Operating Officer Piyush Singh was not the only time they sold Campus Activewear shares this year. They previously made an even bigger sale of -₹134m worth of shares at a price of ₹419 per share. While we don't usually like to see insider selling, it's more concerning if the sales take place at a lower price. It's of some comfort that this sale was conducted at a price well above the current share price, which is ₹319. So it may not shed much light on insider confidence at current levels.

Happily, we note that in the last year insiders paid ₹1.2m for 2.70k shares. On the other hand they divested 1.24m shares, for ₹500m. Over the last year we saw more insider selling of Campus Activewear shares, than buying. What Might The Insider Transactions At Campus Activewear Tell Us?

Insiders sold Campus Activewear shares recently, but they didn't buy any. Zooming out, the longer term picture doesn't give us much comfort. But since Campus Activewear is profitable and growing, we're not too worried by this. The company boasts high insider ownership, but we're a little hesitant, given the history of share sales. While we like knowing what's going on with the insider's ownership and transactions, we make sure to also consider what risks are facing a stock before making any investment decision.
