Biography

MIE Holdings Corporation, together with its subsidiaries, primarily explores, develops, produces, and sells crude oil, gas, and other petroleum products under production sharing contracts in North America and the People’s Republic of China. It holds interests in the Daan project that covers an area of 62,518 acres located in the Songliao Basin of DaanJilin Province; South China Sea PY10-4 project that covers an area of 16,700 acres located in the middle of the Pearl River Mouth Basin; and Emir-Oil project that covers an area of 11,100 acres located in the Mangshrak Basin in west Kazakhstan. As of December 31, 2018, the company operated a total of 2,392 wells. It also has net proved oil and gas reserves of approximately 213 million barrels of oil equivalents (BOE); net proved and probable oil and gas reserves of 339 million BOE; and net proved, probable, and possible oil and gas reserves of 366 million BOE. The company is headquartered in Wanchai, Hong Kong.
