Recent 3.0% pullback isn't enough to hurt long-term International Consolidated Airlines Group (LON:IAG) shareholders, they're still up 100% over 3 years

International Consolidated Airlines Group S.A. (LON:IAG) shareholders have seen the share price descend 21% over the month. But that shouldn't obscure the pleasing returns achieved by shareholders over the last three years. In the last three years the share price is up, 97%: better than the market.

While the stock has fallen 3.0% this week, it's worth focusing on the longer term and seeing if the stocks historical returns have been driven by the underlying fundamentals.

The TSR incorporates the value of any spin-offs or discounted capital raisings, along with any dividends, based on the assumption that the dividends are reinvested. It's fair to say that the TSR gives a more complete picture for stocks that pay a dividend.
