Investors Still Aren't Entirely Convinced By ProCook Group plc's (LON:PROC) Revenues Despite 40% Price Jump

ProCook Group plc (LON:PROC) shareholders are no doubt pleased to see that the share price has bounced 40% in the last month, although it is still struggling to make up recently lost ground. Looking further back, the 22% rise over the last twelve months isn't too bad notwithstanding the strength over the last 30 days.

In spite of the firm bounce in price, you could still be forgiven for feeling indifferent about ProCook Group's P/S ratio of 0.5x, since the median price-to-sales (or "P/S") ratio for the Specialty Retail industry in the United Kingdom is also close to 0.3x. While this might not raise any eyebrows, if the P/S ratio is not justified investors could be missing out on a potential opportunity or ignoring looming disappointment.

What Does ProCook Group's Recent Performance Look Like?

Recent times have been pleasing for ProCook Group as its revenue has risen in spite of the industry's average revenue going into reverse. One possibility is that the P/S ratio is moderate because investors think the company's revenue will be less resilient moving forward.
