In 1993, he moved to Fineco SIM S.p.A where he was assigned responsible for administration, asset management and trading. After having been appointed as Member of the Board, General Manager and Chief Executive Officer, in 2002 he became Chairman of Fin-Eco Sim.He held various financial positions at Montedison S.p.A. He is a Member of the Board of Investment of Fin-Eco Investimenti SGR S.p.A., and member of the supervisory board of directors of Entrium Diect Bankers. He has been Vice Chairman and Member of Supervisory Board at DAB Bank AG since May 20, 2010 and May 14, 2009 respectively. He has been a Director of FinecoBank Banca Fineco S.p.A. since October 1999. He serves as a Director of Assosim (the Association of Italian Stock Intermediaries) and Netscalibur. Mr. Foti serves as a Director of Sirti SpA. Mr. Foti served as a Director of Ducati Motor Holding S.P.A. since 2003. He served as a Member of Supervisory Board at Direktanlage.at AG until July 31, 2012.
