The President of Jasper Mining Corporation (CVE:JSP.H), Gordon Dixon, Just Bought 29% More Shares

Whilst it may not be a huge deal, we thought it was good to see that the Jasper Mining Corporation (CVE:JSP.H) President, Gordon Dixon, recently bought CA$120k worth of stock, for CA$0.10 per share. That purchase might not be huge but it did increase their holding by 29%.

The Last 12 Months Of Insider Transactions At Jasper Mining

Notably, that recent purchase by Gordon Dixon is the biggest insider purchase of Jasper Mining shares that we've seen in the last year. So it's clear an insider wanted to buy, at around the current price, which is CA$0.12. That means they have been optimistic about the company in the past, though they may have changed their mind. We do always like to see insider buying, but it is worth noting if those purchases were made at well below today's share price, as the discount to value may have narrowed with the rising price.
