Inverite Insights Inc. (CSE:INVR) insiders who purchased shares in the last 12 months were richly rewarded last week. The stock climbed by 33% resulting in a CA$3.2m addition to the company’s market value. As a result, the stock they originally bought for CA$154.5k is now worth CA$185.8k.

While insider transactions are not the most important thing when it comes to long-term investing, we would consider it foolish to ignore insider transactions altogether.

The Last 12 Months Of Insider Transactions At Inverite Insights

In the last twelve months, the biggest single purchase by an insider was when Independent Director Farhan Abbas bought CA$124k worth of shares at a price of CA$0.05 per share. Even though the purchase was made at a significantly lower price than the recent price (CA$0.06), we still think insider buying is a positive. Because it occurred at a lower valuation, it doesn't tell us much about whether insiders might find today's price attractive.
