From what we can see, insiders were net sellers in Alpha HPA Limited's (ASX:A4N ) during the past 12 months. That is, insiders sold the stock in greater numbers than they purchased it.

While we would never suggest that investors should base their decisions solely on what the directors of a company have been doing, we would consider it foolish to ignore insider transactions altogether.

Alpha HPA Insider Transactions Over The Last Year

In the last twelve months, the biggest single sale by an insider was when the Non-Executive Director, Anthony Sgro, sold AU$495k worth of shares at a price of AU$1.10 per share. While we don't usually like to see insider selling, it's more concerning if the sales take place at a lower price. The silver lining is that this sell-down took place above the latest price (AU$0.95). So it may not tell us anything about how insiders feel about the current share price. The only individual insider seller over the last year was Anthony Sgro.
