EML Payments Insider Buyers Net AU$90k Despite 26% Stock Decline
EML Payments Limited (ASX:EML) insiders who acquired shares over the previous 12 months, can probably afford to ignore the recent 26% decline in the stock price. After accounting for the recent loss, the AU$517.6k worth of shares they purchased is now worth AU$607.3k, suggesting a good return on their investment.
While insider transactions are not the most important thing when it comes to long-term investing, logic dictates you should pay some attention to whether insiders are buying or selling shares.

EML Payments Insider Transactions Over The Last Year
The Independent Chairman Anthony Hynes made the biggest insider purchase in the last 12 months. That single transaction was for AU$518k worth of shares at a price of AU$0.60 each. We do like to see buying, but this purchase was made at well below the current price of AU$0.70. Because it occurred at a lower valuation, it doesn't tell us much about whether insiders might find today's price attractive.
