Recent BGS News & Updates

Narrative Update Jun 15

BGS: Margin Execution And Dividend Reset May Support Future Deleveraging

Analysts have trimmed their B&G Foods price target to $6.00, citing slightly higher discount rate assumptions, a modestly weaker revenue outlook, and a small improvement in expected profit margins and future P/E. Analyst Commentary Recent commentary around packaged food peers offers some context for how bullish analysts might frame B&G Foods, especially around value support, execution on margins, and potential upside if fundamentals track to expectations.
Narrative Update Jun 01

BGS: Planned Frozen Divestiture And EBITDA Stabilization May Support Future Deleveraging

Analysts have lifted the B&G Foods price target by $1 to $5, citing expectations that the planned Green Giant frozen divestiture could help the company move closer to its leverage goals and that recent results show early signs of EBITDA stabilization, while updated models reflect only modest tweaks to margin and valuation assumptions. Analyst Commentary Recent Street research around B&G Foods has turned more constructive, with several bullish analysts nudging price targets higher as they factor in the proposed Green Giant frozen divestiture and signs of EBITDA stabilization.
