AI Chips Update - Navitas Expands GaN Technology Through Powerchip Partnership

Navitas Semiconductor has announced a strategic partnership with Powerchip Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation (PSMC) to advance the production of 200mm GaN-on-silicon technology. This collaboration is aimed at enhancing the supply chain, driving innovation, and improving cost efficiency, which could accelerate the adoption of GaN in sectors including AI data centers, electric vehicles (EVs), and solar power. Powerchip's facilities in Taiwan will support the production and development of these semiconductors, which are known for their efficiency and performance improvements. This initiative aligns with Navitas' recent efforts to expand its influence in high-demand markets such as AI and renewable energy solutions.
In other trading, TongweiLtd (SHSE:600438) was trading firmly up 10% and closing at CN¥17.80. In the meantime, NAURA Technology Group (SZSE:002371) softened, down 27% to end the day at CN¥323.79.
