Brookfield to Weigh Up Buyer Interest for Aveo Brookfield (Brookfield Financial Properties L.P.) is expected to gain further insight by the end of the week as to what sort of price it can expect for its retirement village operator Aveo when bids are due. The main names that feature as possible contenders are Charter Hall Group (ASX:CHC), Scape, Oxford Properties Management Australia Pty Limited, Australian Super Pty Ltd. and GIC Private Limited. However, it is understood at least some of those parties are still searching for capital, are not interested in paying the asking price of over $3bn or may be keen to buy just part of the business. Private equity firms were known to have been around the hoop last year, but are understood to have fallen away. It's possible that AustralianSuper and GIC join forces with Charter Hall or Scape, while there are mixed messages in the market as to whether Oxford Properties is still around the hoop. 공시 • Jan 08

Charter Hall Group Announces CFO Changes Charter Hall Group announced that it has appointed Anastasia Clarke as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), replacing Russell Proutt who resigned to pursue other opportunities. Ms Clarke takes on the role, as well as joining the Charter Hall Executive Committee, having recently announced her resignation as CFO at GPT Group. Ms Clarke has a deep understanding of all aspects of real estate, including listed corporations, funds management, investment, asset management, development and construction, that supports this appointment. Charter Hall Group Appoints Stephen Conry AM as Independent Non-Executive Director Charter Hall Group announced the appointment of Mr. Stephen Conry AM as an Independent Non-Executive Director of the Charter Hall Group. Mr. Conry's appointment takes effect from 16 January 2023. Until 2022, Mr. Conry was the CEO of Jones Lang LaSalle Australia, Australia's largest commercial property services firm, serving in that role for 13 years.
