NaaS Technology adopts new share incentive plan

The board of China-based electric vehicle charging service provider NaaS Technology (NASDAQ:NAAS) has approved and adopted a new share incentive plan, effective Sep. 29. A maximum number of 249,770,760 class A ordinary shares will be issued initially, with the number of shares to be increased on the first day of each fiscal year from Jan. 1, 2023, by an amount equal to 1% of the total number of shares issued and outstanding on the last day of the immediately preceding fiscal year. NaaS enters into strategic partnership with Newrizon

NaaS Technology (NASDAQ:NAAS) recently entered into a strategic partnership pact with Newrizon, a Chinese manufacturer that works with smart connected new energy commercial vehicles. The goal of the strategic partnership is to establish a new charging network, facilitate the formation of an intelligent charging ecosystem, and accelerate the popularization of new energy commercial vehicles. Both parties aims to facilitate the development of green logistics, but also to enable the achievement of China's "dual carbon" goals. Through their cooperative effort, both parties will jointly upgrade Newrizon's charging services and improve user experience. Kuaidian, a strategic partner of NaaS, will open its nationwide digital charging network to Newrizon's mobile applications which include the Newrizon App as well as Newrizon mini-programs in WeChat and Alipay. As of June 30, 2022, NaaS' services covered 358 major cities in China, connecting 44,000 charging stations and 400,000 charging connectors.

China-based electric vehicle charging services provider NaaS Technology (NASDAQ:NAAS) said it had begun a partnership with EEZI, a solution service provider for travel ecosystem integrating hardware and software. Both parties will work together on solutions for intelligent travel and smart charging services, the company said. EEZI works in design, research and development, and the operation of smart cockpits, autonomous driving, software ecosystems, and user experience. NaaS will integrate its digital charging network covering the whole of China into the EEZI's charging operation and management platform, EEZI machine and the EEZI App.

NaaS Technology rallies after EVs charging solution deal with Green Intelligent Link

NaaS Technology (NASDAQ:NAAS) jumps up 8% in premarket trading, Friday, after announcing its strategic partnership with smart connected car platform provider, Zhejiang Green Intelligent Link, to provide one-stop charging solutions to commercial EVs. Green Intelligent is one of the three platform companies under Geely Commercial's Farizon Auto, which provides multipoint layout for multi-energy systems in China, focused on urban delivery scenarios. Under the deal, the parties are said to provide one-stop charging solutions, including the interconnection of charging piles and the digital management of charging solutions for delivery and logistics fleets in response of rising EV demand. "With guidance and oversight from the relevant Chinese authorities in terms of policy, the transition of commercial vehicles from gas to electric power will continue to accelerate," said Cathy Wang, Founder and CEO of NaaS. "NaaS positions itself as a 'connector' in the renewable energy sector. Through this partnership, we will connect drivers of commercial EVs to an interconnected charging network throughout the entire country further enabling drivers to charge their vehicles, reduce their costs, and ensure the sustainable growth of the commercial EV sector."
