Summary Biglari Holdings offers a modest NAV discount, with restaurants and insurance performing well and oil to get a boost in early 2026 from the oil crisis. BH's restaurant business is rationalizing effectively, reducing labor costs as a percentage of sales despite closures and wage increases, thanks to same-store growth. The oil segment, about 10% of NAV, could deliver $10-$20 million in excess cash flows if 2022 conditions return, a nice incoming boost to NAV. We get a 13% NAV discount, but there are compensation quirks that could limit that, and more importantly, we only get interested in holding company discounts per se above 30%.
